The commercial units just didn’t cut and that is why I rolled my own. Perhaps there is some way to build the cover so that it fits into the actual vent slots –sort of like spring into place wher it would be a tight friction fit. Don;t know if you have access to sheet metal tools –maybe a local shhetmetal shop can give you some ideas. I am experiencing the same issue with my jeep commander, vent is in different location, but this has given me some good ideas & I do enjoy a challenge every now & then.
