Of course, more and more smart phones are becoming waterproof and water resistant. With many cases coming with waterproof capabilities companies believe we should embrace the fact that both water and smartphones are big parts of our lives. However, the iPhone 6 itself is certainly not waterproof by any means, and even a quick dunk in the toilet can be catastrophic. The good news is that just because you dropped your iphone in water does not mean its necessarily broken. First shut your iPhone 6 down immediately. After you take it out of the water this prevents the possibility of the iphone short circuiting. Next anything that can be removed from your iPhone 6, remove it. This includes the case you have on it and the sim card. Next get out as much water as possible by shaking your iPhone. Then let it sit for 24-48 hours. If nothing else works you might have to say goodbye to it and sync with your compute to get any important stuff off of it

I dropped my iPhone 6 plus down the toilet. I did try and use it straight
away, the I put it in the airing cupboard for a night. When I when I turn
it on it seems to be be functioning, but the top 3/4 of the screen has a
slight fuzz and there seems to be a white line improved diagonally across
the screen. Shall I leave it a few more days or is it repairable???
Thanks

I dropped mine in the toilet and immediatley took it out to dry and turned
it off . After twenty minutes the phone turned on by itself but now if I
try to turn it off it’ll turn of for 30 seconds and then turn itself off .
My screen randomly turns off and the power slide button comes on by
itself.. I don’t know what to do because it won’t stay turned off.. Any
ideas ?
