DJI Phantom damage assessed after water crash
I returned to the only real west coast dealer shop (located in San Jose, California) where I purchased my Phantom.
I watched as Paul and Edgar of Century Helicopters took it apart.
The goal is for the water soaked phantom to fly again.
It will cost less to repair than a new copter.

Hey Joe. Parts replaced were 4 new motors, GPS, main board, body screws,
about $325. Still cheaper than a whole new phantom complete body at about
$450.

have been wise

Then you’ll really like my new BLACK quadcopter. Stick with white if you
like.

Do you think certain paints on the Phantom shell can affect the Phantoms
GPS reception?

How do you access the MCU without the main controller board? Where can I
get the DJI adapter to power it as illustrated in the video? Let me know
much appreciated!
