Andrew Tornadoboy October 19, 2014 @ 1:42 pm This tech is perfect for building emergency houses after disasters, like the tsunamis in Japan and Sri Lanka, and would be great for building hospitals in Africa for the Ebola epidemic. But when talking about tall or big buildings then this is not suitable as it is very weak building with only cement and no metal support. John Boni January 8, 2015 @ 2:37 am This house technology is no different than the adobe-style houses from the past. And that’s hilarious that people think these will be much less than the costs of homes today. Unless you’re going to buy a 3-D printer yourself and print one, you will be buying one from a contractor, or another person. Which means you’re at the mercy of whatever they decide to charge. Remember, even if the materials are cheap, they still have to reclaim their money from the machinery, which I imagine is pretty expensive. Plus, people have to run and maintain the machine. Houses cost so much today because we let them cost that much; we want to sell a house for more than we bought it for. Building a house from scratch is dirt cheap compared to buying an already-built home. Mohamed PoorTester January 21, 2015 @ 1:00 am Révolutionnaire !!! Can i drill anywhere to install additional hooks, racks, wall fans ? will it auto-collapse in a quake / tornado ?
